Quality and Welfare

Healthy, happy and satisfied animals are our main aim. Therefore high welfare standards are essential lots of space; fresh air, clean straw, and natural quality feed are provided for all our animals. We are also members of FABBL farm assurance scheme. FABBL was set up to give retailers and consumers confidence in British livestock production standards.

Health

• There has never been a case of BSE in British White cattle.
• The herd is Brucellosis/TB tested.
• No in feed medicines are used.
• No in feed antibiotics are used.
• Probiotics are not used.

All our animals are reared on natural diets which can include grass, turnips, hay, home-grown cereals (wheat and barley).

Feed

• All feed is grown on farm.
• Only natural ingredients are used.
• All feed is fully traceable.
• Meat and bone meal is never used.
• Fish meal is never used.
• No growth hormones are used.
• No growth promoters are used.
